Licensure

Yana Finkelstein is licensed to practice law in the State of California. Foros Law serves clients throughout California and the United States in two areas of law:

• California law, including estate planning, trust administration, probate, and California tax matters, for clients wherever they live. This includes people who own property in California, who are moving to or from California, or whose family members or estates are located here.
• Federal tax law, including federal income, estate, gift, and international tax matters, for clients anywhere in the United States. Federal regulations permit an attorney in good standing in any state to practice before the Internal Revenue Service (31 C.F.R. § 10.3(a)).

Foros Law does not advise on the law of any state other than California. When a matter turns on another state's law, such as a will or trust for a resident of another state or real property located outside California, we work with counsel licensed in that state. Matters governed by the law of another country are handled the same way, in coordination with locally licensed counsel.
